History:
The Hope Run & Walk is an annual fundraising event held in Marshall, Texas that allows you to walk two miles at your own pace or compete in a timed 5-K run, while helping to meet critical needs of orphans around the world.
The Hope Run & Walk is organized by Portion for Orphans, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization based in Marshall, Texas. The mission of Portion for Orphans is to:
Raise public awareness about orphans worldwide
Improve the quality of care provided to orphans
Promote physical and spiritual development of orphans by offering training and educational support to their caregivers
The Hope Run is vital in enabling Portion for Orphans to fulfill this mission: 100% of proceeds of the Hope Run & Walk are used directly to benefit orphans!
